Need your comments on pistols that are cheap but reliable, that's all that I'm wanting, cheaper than dirt.

What about the M9, Address below, $236 American

Would like your comments: which would be the cheapest pistol that you would use.combat ect

I like 9mm because this is the cheapest fun with a loud bang.:2guns:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that site is advertising to sell that pistol. It lists the specs on various military weapons, and the price is what the gov't pays for it.

I recently bought a CZ-40B for around $350, new with two magazines. Its been completely reliable and I reccommend it without hesitation.

I've had several friends who like Llama, but they are kind of hit and miss on quality. Take a real good look at any one you start to buy. I don't particularly reccomend them, but they are cheap.

Hi DocWagon

Yes I agree that it's the gov't price, not for public.

The CZ-75B has an all body steel, not many pistols have this anymore.

I live in New Zealand, do not know where to buy one from. American I can not purchase because of the permit required, massive costs & time.

They are made in the Czech Republic, but I did find a partner in Australia. Its the closest I could find to New Zealand. You might want to contact them, although I don't have any clue as to how hard it is to export from Austrailia. At least its on your side of the planet. ;)

Hi DocWagon

thanks for this information.

Have emailed Australia & will see what they will say, to buying from them.

In Australia, there is know government charges for export permits, but the local dealer will charge for his time in writing out the permits ect.

Last year I was thinking of buying in Au but one of the dealers over there said if you only order one pistol, then it may not be worth the trouble.

But we will see with this dealer, thank again

CZ 75B 9mm - $360.0
Bulgarian Makarov - 9mm Makarov - $180.00
Ruger P89 - 9mm or P90 .45ACP - $349.00
Ruger GP100 - .357 Magnum - $375.00

I am sure there are many more out there. These come to mind as being handguns one can pull out of the box and start blasting away with no modifications.
