Does anyone have an opinion on the cav 15 lower receivers. I have heard nothing put good things about this company and their synthetic lower receivers made by cavalry arms.

Well, this reply maybe late.... but I'll put my $0.02 in......


It's a great product. CAV-15 is the official name made by Cavalry Arms. They have their own forum on AR15.com under the Industry section. I got started in AR's w/ the CAV-15. I have a number of them along w/ a few regular aluminum lowers. I like the longer butt stock and the ergo grip. You can get them in different colors.... black, green, yellow, blue, tan, purple and a bunch more (no red or orange!!!)

The company has great customer service and stands behind their product. At this time, the "mold" is undergoing some changes and revisions- as Cav Arms posted. They plan to show the new changes off at the 2003 Shot Show.

I must sound like a sales person, but I'm not...... I'm friends w/ the owner and beleive in the product he sells.

I''m biased (as I own one) but for the cost I find you get a great value.

The other cool thing is for a little more money you can custom order the serial number.

They go together really easy with any parts kit I have tried (OLY - Armalite)
