I'm new to this forum and also new to a new mini 14. My question is can I shoot 5.56 ammo with this mini ? Any info will be appreciated...Thanks Joe SEMPER FI

yes, 5.56 is perfectly shootable out of nearly every mini-14. The only one that can't is the Target Model which has a .223rem bore/headspace to help improve accuracy. I have a 186-series and it just loves the military 62 grain loads.
