5" groups at 100 yd, equates to 15" groups at 300 yds.

If you do a trigger job, add a $20 muzzle brake, and bed your stock. 2" groups at 100 yd, equates to 6" groups at 300 yds. Now you can try for head shots on the targets.

Are you talking about a IPSC target or one of those huge B27s. If the IPSC/IDPA standard target, I will just say I can keep 10 shots strait into the 8 inch circle 'o' zone of the IDPA or the '5' zone of the IPSC one. That's the middle, not the whole target!

So, yes, keeping all the shots on the target, with apendature sights, one can surely do this, even with a unmodified poorly shooting Mini!

Did all, bedded, Mikes trigger job, Mikes med gas port bushing, JM muzzle break, shok buffer and gap gas block. Has about 1750 rounds shot through it.

I should say that when I bought the gun I took it apart to see what it was all about. I did notice that when re-installing the trigger that it pulled the action down to the stock about a 1/16". I didn't like the way this put pressure on the action and ultimately I feel, the barrel it self. I say the "barrel" because the pivot point is the stock to the gas port then the action is levered down by the trigger assembly. I believe this is putting unnecessary strain on the barrel between the gas port and rear of the barrel at the action connection.

Yes, every time prone unsupported with an AR15 or m16. Haven't tried it with a mini 14. It wasn't allowed on a millitary range. BTW my M16A2 had over a 7lbs pull, could pick the rifle up by the trigger, had a damaged crown and the upper and lower receiver would wobble so bad I had to fold up some paper and jam it in there kinda like a home made accu wedge to from wiggling like a snake. Im not sayin its the ultimate weapon though just very easy for me to hit with off hand.
