C&R questions

I've been considering getting a C&R license for some time now. I have two questions for those that already have thiers.

1) I hope to get my FFL dealers license in the future, How will having my C&R affect things at that time?

2) I've recently developed an interest in rook rifles and the Martini cadets. Can I import guns from overseas for my personal collection using a C&R or would I need an importers license?

The Q&A on the ATF site says that whatever you can do with a C&R you can do with a full dealer FFL.

Since a licensed firearms dealer may legally deal in curio or relic firearms, is there any reason why the same person would need both a dealer's license and collector's license? [Top]

A person who deals in curio or relic firearms and holds a dealer's license is not required to have a collector's license. A collector's license enables a collector to obtain curio or relic firearms interstate. A person holding a dealer's license may also acquire curio or relic firearms interstate.
