Hey all...I recently purchased and installed a butler creek stock on my 10/22. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box to see that it was the same length as the factory stock. That being said...I was looking for something a bit longer, or fuller. I figured I could add a recoil pad or something to the end of the stock to add about an inch to it...but I can't find anything. Any help?

I also noticed that I am having a bit of a hard time getting a good cheek weld. Is there anything I can do to build up or add to the stock to help get a better position?

Thanks in advance.

Hey pikeal1, I've seen add on butt plate shims, or 1" thick butt plates around the net, maby you can do a search, or make some rubber or plastic spacers.

Also for a cheekpiece check out this one: http://www.perfectunion.com/forums/showthr...49&pagenumber=1
I believe Eagle made, it. Also blackhawk, and bushmaster has some you might want to check it out.

Also could your scope is mounted too high?

My Fajun Sporter, and Silhouette have a built up cheekpiece.
