Mike- I have a suggestion for you on your Wolf ammo problem.There is a company here in Ky. (just outside of Lexington)that sells Wolf ammo in most of it's various available calibers. I have been there many times after work with a co-worker to load up on "stuff" and ammo. Have shot the Wolf in my Kimber .45,and it works surprisingly well,and is quite accurate. The company is Centerfire Systems,ph.# 1-800-950-1231. They are very nice to deal with.Price of the Wolf is $109.97 for 1000 rnds.FMJ,boxer primed,too ! Hope this helps you. BILL:2guns:

This may be a little late but J&G, Ammoman and several others are listed in Shot Gun News every month. Look for special deals and so forth, some close outs are allways in the fine print.

You might want to try the Outdoor-Source. I'm not sure their price on the ammo but they are very polite to deal with. Good customer service.

I don't know where you are from but I looked carefully for a few weeks at ammo ads and prices. I ended up going to the Indy 1500 and buying everything I needed. The shipping costs just killed mail order purchases for me. As for Wolf, I know a lot of guys use it and I know it's affordable. I bought a case for the AK's but went with (for the most part) S & B for most everything else. Yes it's a little more money but I liked the brass and the absence of lacquer. I may have wasted money - I'm no expert. You will hear pros and cons about Wolf. Check out gun shows in your area.
