Since the Mini seems to beat scopes up,
would it help to have a buffer mounted
on the inside of the gas block?
(it would slip over the gas pipe)
This would cushion the slide as the recoil
spring slams it back against the gas block.
Probably wouldn't want it as thick as the recoil buffer.
Inner tube thickness maybe.
I may work one up this weekend.

Only problem being, you may find that your bolt will not lock on the reload and it will go "click"... not bang after the first shot.

i think that a front buffer is a good idea. kicked it around, if you get two buffers and cut one in half, glue or loc-tite black it on it should seat with some dampening effect and consistancy, maybe improving acuracy. this is one i've got to try with wolff spring because of the extra power slaps the op-rod faster.
