Obviously its a rediculous law suit. If I'm a drink driver, no one would consider suing Dodge or the car lot I bought the truck from.

Their strategy is obvious, they don't care if they win or lose, they just want to make the pro-gun companies spend money on legal action. If they win, super for them, if they lose, at least they made their opposition spend money. Since the Brady foundation can count on the misguided to contribute and lawyers to donate time, they figure they'll come out ahead.

I wonder if the local gun shop can afford it, and if there will be a collection for them.

you are right Doc as long as the makers have to waist money to go to court and get lawyers it will cost us either way.

To: Sniper Victim's Families
We, the undersigned, are in full support of Bushmaster in any future legal precedings. We are intelligent Americans, and we are a dying breed.

We understand that a person should be held responsible for their actions, not the tool they use to carry them out. It is not Bushmaster's responsibility to investigate every dealer they sell to, that is the job of the Federal Government, through the ATF.

We find it appalling that people are so hungry for money that they wish to capitalize on the death of a loved one to gain financially.

By signing this, we pledge to support Bushmaster firearms whole-heartedly, and at all costs.

Some of us may begin boycotting news and media organizations as a result of the ensuing lawsuits.

We want our country back.

Now can't their be some justification for the gun makers to turn around and sue the Brady foundation back, in order to recoup their legal expenses?

Rediculous lawsuits like this not only cost us, but cost the average Joe-citizen who is sitting on the fence, because this takes up valuable and expensive courtroom time.

It would be nice to see this strategy backfire on them, and empty their bank accounts.

Liberal anti gun people view this pratice as a win win win situation. If they sue gun makers they might get a all liberal jury, judge and win ,

Even if they loose it cost lots and lots of cash for the gun industry to defend it self ,money they could have used to defend the 2nd amendment but now they have to spend it to prevent there demise.

Finaly most cases have been halted by state law makers not just judges and the liberals can use that agianst them in a negative way at the next election and say they protect big business they overide there liberal judges and everything but the truth.
