I'm sitting here at the house bored off my ass. Is there any small things I could do to my mini while sitting here?

would be nice. But it's dark and snowing right now. Besides earlier today a man was killed by a falling tree limb from the ice storm. I think i'll stay in here.

Bored ahy? Have ya bedded your stock? even a folder will shoot better. I saw your mini in the Gallery, she is purty!;) What mods have ya done so far? Now if you were into reloading there is a lot you could do to prep for when you could shoot. Also if you had a 10/22 There is a bunch you could do, and it dosen't cost much, and everything is do it your self, drop-in. We even have ammo you can shoot in your living room safely with a proper stop. You heard me, the Aguila colbri 22 LR dosen't have any powder, dosen't make any noise when fired, only a primer, and a 20 grn bullet. Good for little varmints up close, and target practice when snowed in in your house. Visit our 10/22 forum, and Gallery.

Definetly check out the Aguila colibri ammo! I shoot it in my livingroom all the time! It goes about 1/2 way through my local phonebook. I just set up the target across the room from my sofa, and blast away.Lot's of fun when you can't go outside and shoot.I buy the higher power version(orange box) as opposed to the lower fps version(yellow box),because it seems to be more accurate. This was confirmed by the people who sell it,as they think the higher fps keeps it on target better. Also, pistols are alot louder than rifles, maybe a little louder than a powerful pelletgun.

Take that mini apart and grab your dremel and polish some of the metal to metal sliding places, like hammer face, bottom of the bolt/carrier where they contact the hammer and slide over it while going back.Look it over and you will see other places where you can polish. I use a polishing(cotton)wheel and some compound.

So far the only mods ive done is the stock, and a recoil buffer. I'm not so much concerned with MOA accuracy, mainly just smoothness of operation, although bedding is something to look at down the road. Thanks for the tip on the indoor ammo, sounds like fun. Also, yesterday I went to wal-mart to try to find some polishing compound, but everything they had was real smooth. I assume that it needs some grit to do any good. I was planning on trying to lap the trigger, very carefully. What is the name of a good compound and where could I find it? Was wanting to do some reloading yesterday but I didn't have any empty brass. Any suggestions on bullet/powder combinations that shoot well. Thanks for all your help guys.:rapid:

I just use the red polishing compound that came with my Dremel assortment. I think its like jewelers rouge. And it's very smooth, not gritty. I've used it for all kinds of polishing needs. Most hardware stores usually carry variety packs of different polish compounds.
