We finally got some rain this week, thanks to a hurricane on the Gulf coast, and I discovered that the fresh precipitation had encouraged some rather large mushrooms and toad stools to rapidly appear in my yard. One in particular was growing on a tree stump in my side yard where I normally shoot. It stood about six inches high and was about the same across the top. Now, being the individual that I am, and wanting to try out the new Eagle flash suppressor/sight combo, I naturally turned to my stainless Mini to help eradicate the offending fungus. Thirty rounds later, I had scared the cats and dog, scattered a toad stool over about ten square feet of yard, and had a really silly grin that I just couldn't get rid of. Ah, simple joys are the best. No bench rest, no worrying over groups, no fiddleing with spotting scopes, just the simple fun of blasting away off hand with open sights and a full clip. Oh, yeah, the new sight/suppressor worked great too!:2guns:
