The Bushmaster wasn't actually used. It was found in the trunk of his car. The media is just attacking "assault" rifles. Though improperly defined.

If you're speaking of Newtown, the coroner (or whatever they call them now... medical examiner?) stated all the wounds were caused by a "high-powered rifle".

Well, to anyone who knows anything about firearms, yes. But to the press, politicians, general public, and emotional knee-jerk progressive liberal gun-grabbers, NO.

I mean, for God sakes- the M1 Carbine (a .30 caliber PISTOL round, essentially) is still considered an "assault weapon" here in NJ and if you're caught with one it's a 5-year mandatory sentence.
