You know, in the first week of April, I drove to New York City from Wisconsin. I cruised on I-80 through Pennsylvania. I was doing about 85-90 in the 65, and saw what looked like a camera angled down at the road. I figured I'd get a ticket in the mail by the time I got home, but I got nothing... so far.

I'm still waiting, but it sure looked like some new-fangled setup taking speeds and pictures of license plates. I'll let you know if I get zapped.

I saw the same type of camera in Louisville, Ky. Apparently those aren't speed traps, they are for monitoring traffic jams. I'm not sure who monitors them, but on the radio I heard the traffic guy saying "according to our cameras on I-65, traffic is backed up past Hospital Curve" or something similar. That may be what you saw, too.

We have those fancy camera's going up here on I-80 in Omaha. In 2 different places. Going to make my morning 40 commute pure hell. Everyone slows down for them and creates accidents and traffic jams.
