Cause i like small calibers, I'm here to ask to you what is the best bolt action rifle chambered in 223 Remington or 5.56 Nato to be user for targeting at an affordable price and what scope you put on it.

If you're looking for just straight up out of the box accuracy at a reasonable price the Rem 700 SPS varmint is hard to beat, I got mine on sale around here for $ 500:

It's got a Simmons whitetail 6x18-42 scope on it but any comparable glass would probably do, I regularly get 3/4"-1" 4-shot groups at 100 yards and have made no modifications to it at all.

If i understand well, form the link in you posted, in Usa the SPS Is solded starting form 732 $. Aprox 561 €
Here in Italy the price is 1087 € = 1419 $!
I understand that there are expedition costs, taxes (21%) , gun testing, and seller profit , but now price is X3 !
Does it need end user certificate to be exported outside Usa?

I think i will quote u 2 or 3 week because i have in order a Tikka T3 Tactical 308 on my preferred gun store....
but i want an american 223 bolt action, and who can know better american firearms than amercian people??

P.S. : for hunting i use a Remington 7400 30-06 with self reloaded ammunitions and it is very good for me and accuracy too is good.
Next to 223 bolt action i will buy an italian made gun for hunting in 6,5 x 55, a Sabatti rover

I have 3 savages in 223, I like the new one with Savage new trigger. I have it set at 2 1/2 Lb I have shot 1/8 groups at 100 yd with my reloads.

I guess if you want an American bolt, I would then go with a savage. I got the tikka because of the 1/8 twist. In all fairness I was looking for a savage.

I think i prefer a 223 in 1/9 or 1/8 twist rate because i'dd like to do some long shoot sometimes with it and use 69 grain Nosler or Sierra bullet, i use it on my Accurized and it work good.
About CZ i see there's 527 Varmint Kevlar on sale on a gun store for 1050,00 € and is in 1/9", 527 American is in 1/12" , but i don't know if it shoot good.
I have a CZ 452 varmint 22 Lr and it shoot very good.
