I just took the trigger off my 10/22 the little metal piece that fits in the forward slot is stlightly bent on the tip. Is this normal? what problems would it cause? Thanks
Hey Hanks. You are refering to item B-8. It is the ejector. It is only used to eject, a round if the mag is out of the rifle. If yours is bent, Raise it up, and straighten with a pair of duckbill or needle nose plyers (jaws taped so as not to scratch), and straighten it. Or if you have an anvel on the back of a vice or other hard flat surface, lay it flat and tap out flat with a hammer. Debur any burrs. Make shure it dosent bind up in the slot. Reasemble your rifle, your good to go. http://www.ontargetguns.com/1022.pdf
