I just finished putting a Belm trigger spring on my 223 Encore carbine.....It's the 2nd one I've done and although it was easier this time than last, it's still a pain...... And using the little keeper instead of trying to blunt force it in is a whole bunch better....

But the trigger is SOOOOOO much nicer when you are finished.... Went from 5 lbs to 2 lbs.......

Also put a hammer extension on the 223 and the 338-06 AI.....

I was gonna change the spring on the 338 too, but it's 3 lbs and that's just fine for a big game gun..... If I need the lighter pull, I'll just use the 223 frame.......

Now to get the time to load for 'em and go shoot 'em......

You don't have to change springs, just bend it forward by pushing with a flat screwdriver. It's simple, takes about 2 minutes, and you can have a trigger pull down to about 8 oz. up to whatever you like and you don't have to take the trigger return spring out.

It is true John, Sixgun fixed mine down at the 4th annual and if he had not been giving lessons to Cisco, it would not have taken him the whole two minutes. I am please as can be with the trigger job.

Kyode I bought #3 springs, supposed to give you 2 1/2 to 3 bs pull.......The first one I did (several years ago) gave me 2 1/2 lbs.

I'm not a bit upset with 2 lbs on a varmit gun though.....

I also got me a mess of hammer extensions too.....
