the swastika is a Hindu symbol meaning good luck, it's also a symbol a saint in India. Actually, it's a very old symbol used all over Asia to generally mean good fortune and spiritual victory.
A friend of mine just got back from Thailand with pictures... I noticed the symbol all over the place in the pics, he said it's all over Asia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & such.
It was the Nazi's who flipped it around & look where it got them.
