Bedding questions......

1406 Views 7 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  cajungeo
From what I understand, Brownell's Accraglas is kind of "runny".

Is it difficult getting it to stick to the sides of the stock for bedding the stock reinforcements?
Do you have to lay the stock on it's side, or will the glass stick well enough with the stock sitting upright?

I will probably start this next week.
Are there any detailed instructions for bedding a Mini?
I've found everything on this board, and this does seem to be the best resource.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input guys.
I had done a lot of research here, so I have already purchased the regular Acraglass. :(

I think I will give it a try.

Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. ;)
cajungeo,

Thanks for that information.
I saw "flock" listed in the package contents, but it wasn't listed in the instructions that you can print out on line.
I kind of thought it might be used to thicken or strengthen the mixture.

I have a cheap scope coming in the mail.
(I plan on doing most of my plinking with open sights.)
My previous groups, with open sights were ~6" at 100yds.
I am going to shoot again with a scope, then bed that puppy.
In about 3 weeks, I should have some new results. :)
