You could Install a 1911 recoil buffer and a different gas bushing, to shoften up the action just a bit. Then, take a look at installing an Amega Mini-Scout-Mount with either a scout scope or some sort of red dot.

IMHO, I think that is the best solution for getting optic's on a standard Mini.
