Hey guys has anybody watch that magpull art of the dynamic carbine#1 DVD/video, and if so how much of it can be applied to using the mini 14. As far as defense, combat, etc.…….? I got a deal. I got it for $30 and free shipping. I know it's all ARs, but do you think it will teach me to use my mini in tactical situations better?. Thanks

Ehh... There's a few tactics you may be able to apply. A lot of the dynamics, however, cannot really cross over to the Mini. ARs really are best for most tactical scenarios. You can't reload a Mini nearly as fast as they teach with the ARs.

Good video to watch and learn from, and I'm sure you may find ways to make their tactics work for the Mini.

They are very worthwhile for the citizen

The dvd's show you different scenarios but they are teaching a philosophy, which is why they have "art" in the title! I highly recommend them and you would adapt your firearm for use in all of their scenarios. I would take a mini to their class any day, after market stock and 30 rd mags, red dot on a rail, good to go.

I have the view. Practice your mag changes, and the rest will fall into place. If you watch all the vids, they run their ar's hard... Really hard
