I'm now shopping for a scope for my 580 series. I do have the Ruger mounts that came with the rifle, but am trying to keep my options open as far as a rail mount scope.
Has anyone had issues with mounting a rail on the factory mounts? I'm wondering if brass hitting it and coming back down could cause potential jams.
