Don't know what what happened. Seems to be ok now. So to clean up this thread a little. "Hey mummac. I hadn't heard of millet adjustable rings, only adjustable bases, and then only side to side for windage. I'd first check out the peep sight to see if you can shoot ok with it. Do not place your barrel on a sand bag, or anything else, as the barrel is thin, and your Point of Impact will change a lot if you do(only use the forestock). Next I would swap ring position, and note how it shoots. (we are assuming you have the scope adjusted to zero elevation. Note where a 3 shot group hits, then with scope still at zero elev. rotate it 180 degrees, and fire it upside down to see if there is a significent difference.
We are trying to determine if it is the rings, scope, receiver mount, or bent barrel. It could be any of the above. Also is this a sudden thing or was it this way when you bought it? What type of scope do you have? I've seen cheaper ones the cross hairs come loose inside, throwing you way off target (the mini is known as a scope wreaker unless you have adjusted the recoil). Give us some more details, and we can help ya. There are some adjustable rings on the market if you need them.
Grinding your ruger rings won't work it will ruin them.
Ooh now I see your edit 18" hi at 25 yds. Go ahead, and check out as noted above. My money is on a bad scope."
