Hi,new to your forum ,looking for info on the ruger ac556.just got a ac556 made 4/1981.anyone know how many were made or are transferable?I wont see this for a while.spoke to ruger they were very helpfull,told me the date it was shipped,and some other info.asked if they knew # made girl didnt know?spent long hours reading your forum,but still have questions anyone know of source for knowledge???at 32years old you would think these would be c&r.thanks

Welcome to the forum roarincreek. Have you entered ac556 in the search window? About 5 pages of threads will come up. I don't recall anyone asking about the total number sold. Ruger would be your best source, then if they don't know?
