I don't think so or it's a factory fixture/tool, I think they're heated before installation like the front sights on standard Minis are. I worked a shop a few years ago and we had a used one that the hider just unthreaded one day, we spun it back on and Loc-tited it, I think vibration must have loosened it up. I'm sure there are others here that know for absolute sure.
Good luck,
Mike

I have a couple of GB models with the flash suppressor like yours, and they can be removed by sticking a screwdriver accross it through the slots. Not very technical, but effective.BE CAREFUL if it does'nt come off easily, try somthing else.
I think the threads are 1/2-28,which is the same as an AR15,and it is NOT standard, kindof hard to find item.I had to call around all over town and finally had to order from a tool house for $17.00 a piece for tap and die. I was quoted prices as high as $100.00 by other tool houses.

A strap wrench might work. If you use a screw driver make sure it is up as close as you can get it to the barrel, or you might bend the steel. I am sure Ruger has a tool to take them off, but considering they don't sell the flash hidders your luck will probably be the same buying the tool. A spanner wrench might work best. I use a screwdriver. There is a lock washer up in there. If you don't have one I can take a picture of mine so you can find a replacement at Sears.

As Paul556 reinforced: If trying the "screwdriver" idea BE CAREFULL!!! If it does'nt feel like it will come loose,STOP and find a different way! Mine came loose rather easily. I also wrapped a piece of duct tape around the screwdriver so as not to scratch it.

I removed the flash hiders on two on my full auto ac556 last year. and here's who i did it. ( to install an AAC m4200 can)
wrap the barrel with electrical tape, an old t-shirt and secure onto a vice. Wrap the flash hider with electrical tape, lots of it and a piece of scrap leather. Now get a big pipe wrench. fasten the wrench to the flashhider and torque slowly to the left to loosen. that should be it.
