I am for anyone buying whatever gun they want but I cannot see any need for this new S&W 500. This is nothing except a "mine is bigger than yours" gun.

Have not seen one yet, but was at S&W web site and seen a pic of the 10& half inch barrel model with a sling. GEEZ.
