I have a 12' aluminum Vee bottom boat. needing a motor. I saw today at dick's sporting goods a Coleman 5hp 4 stroke for $999. Good deal? Any info on this motor? good or bad? I like the idea of an air cooled 4 stroke. Any suggestions for a Nice motor around that power and near that price? First motor purchased, don't know reputations for reliability and such. Sick running my troller all the way across the lake.

I never minded the two stroke smoke... used to run redline or klotz synthetic. Smells like victory.

I've been known to put a dab of castor oil in the lawnmower gas. It makes mowing the lawn more enjoyable.

I think four strokes go farther on a tank of gas at least with 15hp motors.
