Supposed to be flat shooting and very consistant. On the other hand, I've heard it called an answer to a question that no one has asked.

I've never had the desire to get one, but there's been talk over on the CZ Forum that one of the barrel makers "might" make a .357 SIG barrel for the CZ 100. If they do, I just might pick one up to check it out myself with out the expense of a whole new gun. Who know, I might like the thing.

I did do a bit of research when it first came out. It's not actually .357, but .355 (9mm) and the brass, although described as a necked-down .40, it isn't. A true necked down .40 would be too short and this round supposedly headspaces on the case mouth and not the shoulder.

That's about all I know (or think I know).

Geno,

What loads do you shoot. What is your favorite. How would you compare to a 9MM or 38Super?

I use Speer 125gr FMJ or Gold Dot bullets in front of 10.3 grains of Blue Dot with speer small pistol primers. That powder seems to give super performance with the 357 Sig. I have also used AA#9 with good results. The 9 mm and 38 super cannot come close to it. That load is close to max so start low and work up if you use it.

With the Sig I can change barrels and shoot 40SW also which is neat.
