Have any of you reloaders worked up a long range load for the 300 RUM?A 1,000yd range is being built in our area and I would like to give it a try.I do not reload but have a buddy that does.I would like any info you can supply to pass on to him.Just got my 300 Rem Ultra Mag and we haven't loaded any rds up yet.

There's a number of 1000yd shooters, over at www.longrangehunting.com, and some of them have experance with the RUM. I seem to remember similar questions being asked (and answered) over there.
They don't mind answering questions, but somtimes the answers can get very technicial (Nightforce uses the retical design of one of the regular posters there), depending on the question.
