Rocky'sP, Do you shoot your S&W? We have posted our vintage revolvers before.
I reload for this .44 Russian circa 1885. It is powerful and accurate. This is the same revolver Bill Cody and the Russians used to kill buffalo from horse back. They were the first "Dirty Harry" pistoleros.

yessir !!Rocky'sP, Do you shoot your S&W? We have posted our vintage revolvers before.
I have no qualms whatsoever about shooting storebought lead-slug .38 S&W thru it.
I tightened the strap/latch to frame fit a tad when I bought it and have had zero issues shooting it.
It's no good for distance shooting as the barrel is scorched out, but it sure is fun !
