Since i got this magazine brand new ive had problems with it feeding the first round when loaded with 10 rounds. It will nose dive and jam the 1st round when fully loaded. With 9 rounds in it, it will feed perfect. It doesnt matter if im using fmj or hp.
Any suggestions what i need to do to this magazine?? It does this in every 1911 ive tried it in.

How long have you had it?

I use 4 Wilson 10 round mags for IPSC. I found they work much better if you load them up, and let them sit for a week or two to break in the spring so it lets off a little tension. After that they work great.

2 or 3 years, and about 100 rounds through it. I use the stock 8 rounders much more than this one because of its hang up on first round.

I would recommend bending the forward edges of the feed lips out just a tiny bit. This will angle the bullet up a bit more, and should keep it from nose diving.
