Any big differences in performance/accuracy? Pros/cons? I'm in the market and am not sure.

The Take Down is just as accurate as a stock 10/22 -- it returns to zero after takedown quite reliably.

If you want to put a sling on your rifle you probably want the standard model.

The Take Down is wonderfully easy to clean.

The Take Down is great for throwing in its small bag.

I have no desire for a take down. I don't hike or travel enough to justify. Most days finds me on my front porch deep in the Missouri Ozarks with my standard 10/22 leaning against a post in front of me waiting for a ground hog or armadillo to show itself. With the 4X scope I can shoot um in one ear and out the other anywhere in my yard.

I don't shoot anything else, no squirrels, rabbits or the like, just the varmints that tear up my yard.
