Is it possible to purchase a complete 10/22 receiver without the stock and barrel? Looking to buy a new 10/22 but put on a different parts. Didn t want to buy stock stock and barrel if I don't have too

It is possible, but not new from Ruger. Check out GunBroker.com -- there are usually several stripped receivers listed there.

Another option is one of the aftermarket companies. Volquartsen, KIDD, Tactical Innovations, and NoDak Spud all come to mind.

Keep in mind, though, that an FFL will be required to purchase even a stripped receiver.
