The title says it all-- How perfect must the gas block gap be for reasonable accuracy and as centered as possible windage?
I ask as I've seen many threads noting how torque setting and the like can be important as well as an "even" gap, but haven't seen much on exactly how precise one should...

Hey y'all, just figured I'd post up where I'm at with my gas system tuning on my 582 mini 30.
Came stock with a .1 dia gas bushing.
I ordered from ASI their three bushing kit and installed the smallest, .06 dia. I also placed a Wilson combat buffer in the rear where the action spring seats...
I'd like to get a set of undersized gas bushings, but Gundoc is staying out of the shop for at least a while. He suggested I talk to Walkenbear. I tried sending a PM but haven't had a response yet. Walkenbear, are you still making bushings?
I did the trigger job off you tube as i have on many Minis but on this 189 Mini 30 i took off just a bit too much, now it shoots 2 round bursts.....
