how are these shows I was thinking of going to the one in charlston

Well to be honest, they are about the only shows I have been to in the last eight or nine years so I don't have a whole lot to compare them to. I usually go on one day only and on average I will spend 2 1/2 to 3 hours there. I look over things pretty good but usually don't do much handling unless it something I am serious about.

All in all I'd rate them good shows. You might send a PM to Zen900 and get his opinion. I think he goes to these shows in Columbia sometimes. I only go to the ones in Asheville.

There is a gun show in Columbia SC this weekend Jul 29 (Sat&Sun)at the Jamil Temple which is near the intersection of I-20 and I-26. It is not a large gun show but it's still a good show. The one youre talking about in Chas in Sept is a bigger show than the one this weekend

What do you guys think of another Gun &Knife Show in the upstate S.C ?
I think it would be good to have more options and different places to go to jmo

I have gone to Myrtle beach,Florence,Columbia and Fayettville. none were great and a lot of jewlry knifes and Brownings.since there are few gun clubs,they dont put on shows.I have been to shows that had 1500 tables.I was exausted.few reloading set ups and now Georgia arms does not come to
Florence.and I am getting bored with AR15 ect.I am old fasioned,I dont add any "cool" to my guns. I would go to Charleston but its a little far for me,I cant drive that far or rather wont.Columbia is as far as I want to go.
