Assuming that he is found guilty, in a fair trial, I vote death by firing squad, but be sure that he see the bullets being dipped in pigs blood.

But why not keep "it" alive for some enhanced interrogation, many American lives may be hanging in the balance.
When we can get a real president back in office, heck we could just send this thing to Israel, they know how to extract information, no political correctness blocking their methods.
I'm in the "death is too good for him" camp, at least right away. Keep him in Leavenworth for 10 years or so, dependant upon female corrections officers for his swill, clothing, haircuts and such. Then, after most everyone has forgotten about him, end his government-sponsored welfare and execute him.
Unless he is found to be mentally incompetent. Sounds like he had some of that going on also, but the army just kept giving him a pass. From what I'm hearing, he should've been flunked out of med school.

Not that he'd likely be cooperative in any meaningful way, but it's possible some kinds of evaluation of him could prove helpful in determining how to detect warning signs in the future. Some of it was apparently obvious, and that's an entirely separate issue having to do with faulty communications, policies, accountability (passing the buck). There must have also been some more subtle signs, signs he would not have been aware of making, involuntary signs that a deteriorating mental state reveals to those who can notice them. Being involuntary, they might be the most helpful in the future. Kind of scary that everyone in certain kinds of jobs would be scrutinized in such ways, but when the stakes are high ...
It does take more than the usual effort put into military evaluations. He should've been the subject of some scrutiny when he engaged in a diatribe on Islam instead of Grand Rounds. Inappropriate and just plain odd.
