J.C. Higgins model 51 30-06

here is the J.C. Higgins model 51 i've been workin on. Sorry for the delay on postin the picutes My laptop melted down and had to get alot of new parts, but its workin now and here are a couple of pics of it, I lost the before pictures when the hard drive went in the laptop.

Beautiful. I recently acquired a model 50 in 30-06. The stock isn't quite as fancy, but a shooter none the less.

Thanks, Mine is a shooter as well, really surprised me. It was very rough when i got it. Hope yours is in better shape than what mine was

We will see. As soon as we have a day without 30+ mph winds, snow, or rain, I'll be able to get her zeroed and see how she does. I'll post some pictures once I can get my hands on a digital camera.

Higgins model 51

I have one of these rifles that I inherited from my father in law after he passed away. I have no knowledge of him ever using it. It appears to be in like new condition. Do any of you know of the best way to go about selling it?
