Mossberg 500 Buttstock

Do the 20 & 12 gauges use the same buttstock? I've been looking for a replacement 20 ga. stock, but those for a 12 are far more plentiful. Thanks.

Everyone always lists the 20 and 12 gauge stocks separate. I think there may be a slight difference in receiver width between the 12 and 20 gauge Mossbergs. I have one of each but have never compared them.

You can swap them back and forth, they will fit. The only difference will be the 12ga stock is slightly wider than the 20, but it will fit right on.
