1911 Extended Slide Release Installation

How hard is it to install an extended slide release on a 1911? Are there any threads that may provide instructions or advice? I am new to the 1911 world, but want to learn....Mark

Its not rocket science. You can do it if you can take the weapon apart in the first place.
