I am looking for a rifle laser that can be seen at least out to 100 yards in the daylight. I have a Crimson on a .45 auto and it works fine at dusk and night or inside. Not to good during the day. Any help with this would be very helpful.

HI PAD. what you need for maximum daytime visibility is a green laser. I have an aimshot 12mW green laser, and it is easily visible at 100 yds during full sun whan pointing at the "right" surface. Not visible on objects that are super bright/reflective like shiny chrome. The only problem is they are still way expensive (appx.$300 for premium models)
You can get some DIRECT from Hong Kong, Air shipped... that will show up in less than 10 business days direct to you... if you search EBAY!
How about 60 bucks??? HOWS THAT PRICE SOUND?!?!? Way nicer than $300...
I have bought two... came with mounts, different pressure switches, batteries, and allen wrenches to adjust...
I think I spent 73 on the first one and like 65 on the second... you HAVE TO SHOP AROUND... but GREAT deals CAN be had... and they DO WORK in DAYLIGHT!!
My made in China "Simmons" from ebay was garbage, I'm not buying anything for a gun from ebay again, I plan on my firearms being capable of saving my life if needed.
No, they are not all the same.
Buy something made in America, by Americans.
Buy someting made in China, copied from an American product, assembled by Communists.
That link looks like a copy of the patent'ed Surefire laser. China does not have to obey US laws. Thats how we get cheapass cloned goods, poison milk and lead tainted toys.
Rapid223... Fair enough... I just had good luck with the lasers I have purchased, and thought I would comment... Regardless of WHERE made, or copied... in this day and age, I need to get the best deal for my dollar... I cant afford to be too picky with my "toys"...
No, china doesn't have to obey the US laws... thats how you can get 25, 50, 100 MW lasers instead of the <5mw ones you usually see...
To each their own...
Planeoldguy, Your mistake was to buy *ANYTHING* with the Simmons name on it... you were doomed from the start, their customer service is the WORST and their products not too far behind... I cant agree with you more!!
Personally, I wouldnt trust my life to *ANY* laser... regardless of where its made... I *KNOW* my irons will never die from old batteries, or get wet and malfunction...
Lasers are fun, and make shooting fun... but I wouldnt stake anyones life on them in a SHTF situation... just my 2 cents...
I just got an Armlite 180B w/ only iron sights. I am not sure if I should get red-dot sight or a green laser. Or both mounted for different applications. If one or both are used, are the iron sights still usable? I have never used either one, or had an AR-type carbine before. I was thinking of using the red-dot for 0-50 yds and the green laser @ 75-150 yds in lowlight conditions. I would have the laser on only just before trigger pull and shut it down immediately to limit my visibility to bad boys. Suggestions appreciated...
