Savage 110 scope bases

Hi folks,

Got a new Burris Fullfield for Christmas and I'm trying to mount it to a Savage 110. The factory weaver-style bases just barely clear the eyepiece/power ring screw, and mount the scope too far forward for proper eye relief. I need to move it back about an inch if possible. No way the factory bases/rings will do this. Will Burris bases/rings fix this? Any other base/ring combination to recommend?

Thanks!

I like the leupold one piece bases and rings.
Check these out... These are for the rounded rear reciever. If your reciever is flat, just look them up. They are NOT interchangable............

1" Standard Finish Extension Style, Medium Rings

The extension rings allow you to move the scope foreward or back. I just put this system on my new Weatherby. I like the set up very much.
