Moving along into current Military History. (Notice the price point goes up every time I add a post.) Enter the Leaupold MK4 BDC Compensating M3 Dial 10 x 40 mm. http://swfa.com/Leupold-10x40-Mark-4-LRT-30mm-Riflescope-P100.aspx
If Ya'll are some of those Dog-faced Army Infantry Folks, this scope should be a little familiar. It works pretty good.
The Leupold MK4 with BDC Elevation Turrent. Instructions, Field Level Maintenance and operating controls can be found in a multitude of Army Manuals as this "Day Scope" has been mounted on many Military Precision Rifles.
Leatherwood makes a good scope, personally I have a Leopold MK4 on my m1a. 6x24 mil dot. making hit 800-1000 yards. 168 match grade.
