Mini 30 Bolt Complete, NEW

I have a NEW complete Mini-30 bolt that was fitted to my Mini 30 by Ruger. I fired 20 rounds just to test it for functionality.

Come on folks . . try to find a complete "all Ruger" bolt assy without sending your rifle to Ruger and BEGGING and PLEADING for a spare bolt, then waiting another week while a manager decides if you are worthy . . . . . .

It came out of a new 581 series that I purchased last December . . not sold yet although I have had several inquiries.

Would this be a drop in part? or do I need to do anything like check headspace or something else?

Ruger will tell you it needs to be checked but I honestly do not know the answer. You could ask over at the Mini 14 Mini 30 part of this forum. Those guys are pretty smart regarding these rifles. They have helped me out alot.

It is cheap local gunsmith here does it for $30 bucks and it takes him all of a few minutes to check the head space. He will also give it the once over and safety check it. You can do it your self, and there are books and videos that can teach you.
