I have a very nice mini-14 wood stock that came off my 580- series Ranch rifle.
It comes with the hand guard cover and all the stainless steel insert parts.
The hand guard has no imperfections, none.
The wood stock has a few minor nicks and bumps, but you have to look for them; this stock is in very nice condition.

get Brownells acraglass gel.. its easy. as long as you dont cut all the way through the stock, and you use 2 good coats of release agent, you cant go wrong. Gun docs video. I think he uses to much and should wipe off the excess before it dries.. but opinions.. If you use too little, you can come back and add.
