Here's what it is:
Stainless steel Mini-14, early 580 series Ranch Rifle
Archangel Sparta stock system
three Ruger 20 round magazines, one generic (nickle)

Gunsmith work performed includes trigger job (~3.5lb) w/ over-travel screw,
shorten barrel to ~16.125" & re-crown w/ 11* target crown,
barrel threaded for flash hider and Troy flash hider installed,

$1200 gets the base rifle with the work described already completed. Alan Tillman at ART Enterprises did the trigger and muzzle work. He is the best, bar none. It shoots under 1.5 MOA on cheap ammo, 1 MOA on match ammo, maybe better on handloads? This is easily a $1600 rifle. Offers never hurt, but price is pretty firm. Trades may be considered, see below.

Sights shown in the picture can be included at extra cost. They are a C-MORE ATAC red dot reflex sight (aluminum chassis w/ A2 rear sight) $350; and Mag-Pul MBUS front sight, $40. The QD sling may also be included for $35. These will only be sold with the rifle.

I also have several extra Mini-14 & Mini-30 parts: Sythetic stock, $40; Walnut stock w/ Ruger handguard, w/ blue & stainless hardware, $100; and one Amega Ranges picatinny fore-end (best way to put optics on a wood stock), $100.

Is it for the post-580 series (flanged barrel), or pre-580 (pencil barrel)?

It's a 580 series pencil barrel. Cutting it down resloved the stringing and barrel whip.
Everyone that has handled it and seen it in action agrees it's the tightest grouping factory barrel they have run across. Heavy barrel conversions are tighter, but at twice the cost of this rifle.

Combo Special- $1500 for rifle in Sparta stock with MBUS front sight, C-MORE ATAC and sling with the three Ruger 20 round mags.
