Mini 14 Factory Folder, perfect $800.00

I have a Mini 14 Factory folder that is as close to new as you can get. It lived in the closet of an air conditioned 52 Hatteras for years and I can't see a ding or nick and would estimate less than 100 rounds use. I'll sell for $800.00 just to get it moved quickly, I'm led to believe they are worth more.

I am in Orlando and would prefr ftf transfer, but will ship at buyers expense.

So that's what one might carry on an offshore fishing boat. It's indeed a handy rifle.

However, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. They sell at Walmart for around $600 new.

What are the first 3 digits of the serial number?

Gundude... I'm away from home, but I think it's a 185 serial number.

The factory folding stock hasn't been made for quite a long time.

The stocks, I'm told, have sold for 500 to 600 bucks by themselves on Gunbroker. I just looked and there is a mini 14 folder, original, in the original box with a bid at 1000.00, a reserve at 1999.00 and a long time to go in the auction.

I think I'm priced pretty cheap for the collectable nature of the rifle, but you're right... it's worth what someone will pay.

Thanks for your thoughts.

This is a very fair price for a collectable mini. The factory folders haven't been available since the 80s I believe? BTW, nice rifle!

Thanks. If it doesn't sell, I may just have to keep it. I could do worse.

I didn't recognize the collectible value of the gun. Which again puts in it the realm of what someone is willing to pay.

I have a 186 series ranch rifle, which I bought in 1999 for around $900. Probably overpaid, but what do I know?

Gundude

No worries, I didn't realize it till I asked someone. I have a 183 series that I think I paid too much for also, but one of my talents is forcing myself to try to forget what I paid for things. My alimony, for instance, I know to the nickel!

Rifle still available?

PM to follow, but if it's still available I'll take it.
