Mini 14 with choate handguad, mo-reaper, hp2 adapter
Here are the mods to my new 581 Series mini 14:
1) mo-reaper muzzle break(helps bigtime on muzzle rise)
2) choate forend handguard (love the look better than stock guard)
3) Harris bipod HBRM 6-9" adjustable legs (had to ad and very stable and well built)
4) HB2 swivel stud adapter (dremeled into stock under heat shield and no bedding needed. Centered and used the pictered router type attachment. Sits just under flush in stock under heat shield)
5) 1911 rear buffer recoil (smoother, quieter and throws brass around 10 feet to 2 o'clock vs 30 feet 3-4pm in past)
6) scope rungs lapped and added my leupold 6-9x/40mm scope
Waiting on .223 laser cartidge boresighter to re-zero in as the 2 grid boresighters I have are not getting me on paper at 50 yards now with mods
