I ordered a Mo-Rod and Mo-Reaper before I got my stainless Mini 14 so I bought them in black just to be safe. Here was the result:



While it did look unique, I still thought it was a little off-balance with the stainless barrel and black Mo-Rod.

I contacted KMO to see if he had any suggestions on changing the color as close to the stainless barrel of the Mini 14 as possible. He offered me better and to redo the color himself:



Needless to say.. I was already a happy customer.. but this is evidence of KMO going above and beyond to make the customer as satisfied as possible. I've already been recommending everyone with a Mini to get a Mo-Rod and Mo-Reaper.. will definitely continue to do so

thinking of ordering the mo-rod and muzzle combo and have a 581 series ranch with blued barrel. Was looking to see if anyone has my gun with the SS versions of both and few pics of this? Would love the muzzle brake without the sight if they ever make that. Suppose i could grind it off, but why bother. I just want amuzzle break that fits and looks as cool at eh mo-reaper brake. You listening KMO? Maybe we can work a discounted deal for the break without sight?

It'd have to be a whole different deal. The Mo-Reaper attaches with the same pinhole (different pin provided) as the original front sight. Is there any particular reason why you don't want the hooded front sight? Personally.. I think its leagues better than the standard front sights my Mini came with. Everyone who has shot my Mini agrees, including guys who got used to their ARs with BUIS. The rings just match up perfectly with the rear sight. Only thing I might change later on is change the actual sight inside the ring to a different color for higher visibility in low light.

Perhaps he plans to only to use a scope, and doesn't want the front sight to obscure the field of view of the scope.

Makes sense. Though I'd imagine even the regular sights might have minor obstructions depending on rings and scope.

I have Warne QD medium rings and only when its at 2x can I see just a little bit of the the hood at the bottom of the scope. 3x and up, I don't even see it at all.

Man I wish that sight was made for the 30 tact

I just want the front sight minus the brake, I am surprised it hasn't been done yet...

Its a 20 round Ruger factory mag. Perfectly legal to own, just not for selling as a whole or importing into CA to civilians.

Just to be clear though, I never use it. I have 10 rounders and a 5 rounder. I received it as a gift and just keep it around for pics because it looks better than 10 rounders and in case I might need to disassemble it for parts.

They made a sightless reaper for me. It works great.

It should. My Mini is a 581 series. Make sure you specify which one you have when you order.

NO.. Of course.. I can clearly tell the spring isnt even installed in that rebuild kit you have in the picture

That sightless Mo-Reaper shown above is one of only a few made. Demand for Reapers without the front sight is increasing, so we will likely design one soon.
