Curious as to what is truth as well. I have been thinking about a mini 30 for sometime. I really enjoy my mini 14.

Well, my LGS which has an indoor range sd the reason was steel cases can spark when they hit the floor and this is not really good with a bunch of unburned powder around...tends to freak the uninitiated.
