fun day shootin the mini 30 tactical

i had a good day at the range!

2" inch groups with a 5x scope. 3" with irons. Pretty consistently. I think it will be really consistent with a GunDoc trigger job.. I could tell my bad shots were trigger oriented. Plus I do not take my time.

But the most fun is hitting a empty fabric softener bottle on the berm about 115 yards.. off hand with irons!! Nailing it over and over and even while it was rolling down the hill from the last hit!! SO FUN!

Plinking > targets.

First 2 targets are scope, second 2 are irons.. I wish i videoed the bottle.

P.S. it was a very windy day.

yeah, i goto the Ocala National forest range. They made a nice pistol/rifle range. 15,25,50,75,100 yard supplied target stands. You just move yours to your desired range. But you have to plan on rigging something mon and tues, they are shot to S$%T and replaced wed morning.
They also have a shotgun skeet range. All for free.
I love the mag release. It really speeds up the mag change. Well made.

Who is the manufacturer of the mag release and where did you get it if you don't mind me asking?

Golden bear and silver bear. I think the silver is a tad more accurate. Have no reason why that would be, just a feeling.
