MOA clicks

Thanks to Tailgunner and Justasking for the ballistic q help. I have a question same gun, same scope. I get 1/2" movement at 100 yds per click (I was wrong about this in my other post). Does that mean it works like this:

2 clicks @ 100 = 1"
4 clicks @ 50 yds = 1"
8 clicks @ 25 yds = 1"

so I will click my turret 8 times for an inch, or 9 times for 1-1/8", if I desire this drop at a 25 yard target. Correct?

That's right. I always remember it this way: Half the distance = twice the clicks.

It's not the normal adjustment for most scopes but if it works you are correct.

What brand of scope do you have? Some don't hold up well.

Based on the pics in the other thread, looks like This One. Specs show 1/2" @ 100 yds, since it's a red dot.

Just got up after night shift...looks like you're hard at it. Good for you. This is a sport/hobby where you will reap great rewards from this kind of fierce interest in the details.
